Three Shires Cattle Trophy 2018

The Three Shires Cattle Trophy in partnership with three premier agricultural shows – the Hanbury Countryside Show in Worcestershire, Burwarton Show in Shropshire, and Moreton Show in Gloucestershire – will again recognize some of the region’s finest cattle. Points are awarded at each show and the championship prize is £1,000 and the coveted Three Shires Trophy. There is also a new special dairy prize this year and the winner will receive £250 and the Mary Oughton Memorial Trophy.

The competition took place for the first time last year and was the brainchild of Richard Heath, Sponsorship Manager of the Hanbury Countryside Show.

D.J. Renney, Managing Director of Nimrod Veterinary Products said: “We are very pleased to be sponsoring this prize again. We want to support farmers in continuing the UK’s global eminence in farming and for the public to be able to see these magnificent animals at the wonderful agricultural shows and appreciate the hard work and expertise that goes into producing and caring for them.”
